The trades
A job in a specific trade can be a great career option if you enjoy challenging, hands-on work. These jobs require advanced training and skills gained through means other than a bachelor's degree. Many types of trades require vocational schooling or training and most often pay well for the special training and skill set required. Training begins with an apprenticeship then moves to a Journeyman or Master of the trades. Interested in exploring different types of apprenticeship programs? What is an apprenticeship? Paid on the job training for 2 to 5 years to become a licensed Master or Journeyman. Apprentices will expect some classwork and work in the field. |
