ACTIVE VS. RESERVE DUTY
Why it's important to know the difference.
While both serve the United States of America, there are key differences between active duty and reserve duty service members.
Active Duty: you are committed to the military full time. It is a better option for those looking for a complete change, and a secure full-time job with numerous benefits.
Reserve duty: is a better option for those wishing to add adventure, learn new skills, and make extra money, without disrupting their current lives. Those serving in the reserve are able to lead their regular lives of school or work and perform military work one weekend a month plus two weeks every summer.
