The Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) is for U.S. citizens, documented residents and DACA students. The application provides potential grants (free money) and loans for college tuition expenses.

The ORegon Student Aid Application is the application used for undocumented students. This application is used to apply for financial assistance for college if students are not US citizens or are not documented legal residents.

The Oregon Promise provides financial support for Oregon students to attend an Oregon community college.
The CSS Profile is an alternate application used by some colleges to determine financial need and award college specific grants. It considers income and expenses and is often used by private colleges.

Other Ways to Pay for College
Portland State University "Four Years Free" - Covers standard tuition and mandatory fees for eligible Oregon high school graduates who enroll full-time. Students must have a 3.0 GPA and be Pell Grant Eligible (available thru FAFSA Application)
Western Undergraduate Exchange - allows Oregon residents to attend participating out of state colleges at reduced costs
OSAC Scholarships - Database maintained by the State of Oregon offering hundreds of scholarship opportunities for Oregon students. The application opens November 1st and is due March 1st annually
Tualatin High College and Career Center Scholarship List - contains local, regional and national scholarships
